Job Summary

My name is Eric, I specialise in recruiting within the Regulated Wealth Management market here at Pavilion Recruitment. I am seeking a skilled and client-focused Financial Planner to join a well established and progressive financial planning firm. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping clients achieve their financial goals by providing expert advice on investment strategies, retirement planning, estate management, and other financial services. This role involves building long-term relationships with clients, analysing financial information, and creating tailored financial plans.

There will be plenty of opportunity as my client has a book of business in need of servicing, with a lot of warm relationships to tap into.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Client Relationship Management:

    • Meet with clients to understand their financial needs, goals, and objectives.
    • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, providing ongoing support and advice.
    • Act as a trusted advisor, ensuring clients feel confident in their financial decisions.
  2. Financial Planning & Analysis:

    • Conduct in-depth reviews of clients’ financial situations, including income, expenses, investments, and liabilities.
    • Develop comprehensive, personalized financial plans to address clients’ short- and long-term goals.
    • Advise clients on financial matters such as investment options, tax planning, retirement strategies, and estate planning.
  3. Investment and Portfolio Management:

    • Recommend and manage investment portfolios aligned with clients’ risk tolerance and goals.
    • Monitor and review investment performance, making adjustments as needed to optimize returns.
    • Stay informed about market trends and financial regulations to provide up-to-date advice.
  4. Compliance and Documentation:

    • Ensure all financial plans comply with relevant laws and regulations.
    • Maintain accurate and detailed client records.
    • Adhere to ethical standards and maintain confidentiality of client information.
  5. Business Development:

    • Identify and pursue new client acquisition opportunities through networking, referrals, and marketing initiatives.
    • Collaborate with the team to grow the client base and achieve business objectives.
    • Contribute to the development of the firm’s financial planning services by sharing insights and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills

Essential:

  • Minimum Level 4 Diploma qualified, Chartered is will be advantageous.
  • Proven experience in financial planning, investment advising, or a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of financial regulations, investment products, and tax laws.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to explain complex financial concepts.
  • Analytical skills with attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
