We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our team and play a key role in nurturing and inspiring our young learners in their early years of education.
As a Key Stage 1 Teacher, you will be working with children in Year 1 or Year 2, helping them build the foundational skills they need for lifelong learning. We are looking for someone who is passionate about primary education, committed to ensuring every child thrives, and eager to work as part of a dynamic and supportive teaching team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes high standards of learning and behaviour.
- Differentiate lessons to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs or higher abilities.
- Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress, providing constructive feedback to children and parents.
- Support the personal, social, and emotional development of students, promoting their confidence and independence.
- Work closely with colleagues, teaching assistants, and parents to ensure the well-being and academic success of all children.
- Participate in school-wide activities, such as parent evenings, extracurricular events, and staff training.
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent (Essential).
- A degree in Education or a related subject (Essential).
- Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (Desirable, but NQTs are encouraged to apply).
- Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1.
- A creative, energetic, and enthusiastic approach to teaching.
- Excellent classroom management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate young learners.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- A passion for creating a stimulating learning environment where children feel safe, valued, and challenged.
