This is a great opportunity to be responsible for the running of your team and supporting the whole Claims Department.

A major Insurance Broking Client is looking to recruit another Claims Team Leader to assist with the management of their Commercial Claims Department.

You will have a strong technical claims background but most importantly you will have the knowledge to ensure all aspects of the running of the Team are first class.

Alongside the credibility to represent the Group with key clients and resolve complex claims issues.

This is a role that can be performed between their office and your home.

The main responsibilities of the Claims Team Leader role includes:

  • Managing your team and supporting and coaching them to handle Clients' claims effectively
  • Creating a motivated team culture, performing regular performance reviews and ensuring appropriate training and development
  • Reviewing and managing all aspects of Quality including audits
  • Key clients with complex programmes or to arrange bespoke plans
  • Complex, sensitive or disputed Claims referrals
  • Authorised claims payment signatory
  • Bespoke claims projects
  • Strategic reviews, eg of claims settlements or future philosophy

To be successful as a Claims Team Leader you will demonstrate:

  • Confident Claims experience, ideally within Commercial classes
  • Strong people skills and leadership abilities
  • Very client centric, focussed on the best possible outcome for your clients at all times
  • Due diligence and process driven to deadlines, and takes initiative when assisting team members
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning and analytical skills with high accuracy and attention to detail
