Conveyancing Fee Earner - Successful Solicitors - Chelmsford, Essex / Hybrid - Competitive Salary

We are on the hunt for an ambitious Conveyancing Executive / Legal Executive or Licensed Conveyancer to join a highly reputable conveyancing team as a Conveyancing Fee Earner.

Joining an experienced team, the Conveyancing Fee Earner will work on residential transactions, dealing with both existing and new clients. You will offer expert, commercially minded legal advice and ensure that top-class services are consistently provided.

Ideal candidates will have experience of residential property law transactions and will be able to take on a full caseload, hitting the ground running! Our client will consider unqualified candidates with sufficient experience and knowledge, or someone who is undertaking professional training to become qualified.

Key responsibilities as the Conveyancing Fee Earner will include:

  • Dealing effectively with clients and third parties via calls, in written correspondence and face to face, providing professional advice and assistance
  • Building and maintaining strong relations with referrers and clients
  • Proactively updating clients regarding their transaction, contract checks, mortgage reports and search results checking
  • Chasing various documentation, ID, mortgage offers and searches
  • Replying to freehold and leasehold enquiries
  • Dealing with existing residential titles
  • Dealing with exchange of contracts and completion of purchase
