We are pleased to be working on behalf of a reputable Insurance Broker based in Chelmsford who are looking for an organised, driven, and friendly HR Administrator to join their team.

You will be responsible for assisting with administration and support of the Human Resources facility.

Key Duties:

  • Ensure the staff handbook is up to date.
  • Organise and request references for employees.
  • Drafting offer letters and contracts of employment for new employees.
  • Ensure contracts and new employee packs are returned and checked prior to the new starter joining the company.
  • Keep personal files up to date.
  • Ensue all job specs are kept up to date.
  • Ensure all sickness and absences are kept up to date.
  • Keep on top of employee probation reviews, communicating with management and administering probation pass reviews.
  • Carry out induction with new starters and exit meetings with leavers.

Previous Skills & Experience:

  • At least 1 years’ experience within Human Resources is essential.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to work on your own.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to construct written communications that are effective and meet business needs.
