Sonic Summary

We are seeking an experienced HR Policy Lead for a 12-month fixed term contract with an Essex-based local authority.
The role involves redesigning around 80 HR policies to align with the Workforce Strategy, focusing on urgent policies such as Change Management and Performance Management.
Candidates must have a strong background in HR policy development and be available to work on-site in Essex two days a week.
The position offers a competitive salary of £50,000 per year.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in HR policy work is required for consideration.

We are working with an Essex based local authority to find an experienced HR Policy Lead.

During this 12 month fixed term contract you will be responsible for redesigning policies in line with the Workforce Strategy. There are around 80 different policies in place and all need updating with the urgent ones being:

Change Management

Performance Management

Recruitment

Grievance

Flexible Working

To be considered you need to have a strong background in working on HR policies and be able to be on site in Essex 2 days a week
