About the role:

Our Client are looking to expand their in-house Estimating division by looking to hire talent for the future. Our client are looking to recruit a Junior Mechanical Estimator to join a well-established experienced team. This opening would be perfect for someone just starting out there Estimating career.

We’re ideally looking for someone with the following;

• Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical qualifications.

• You will also need experience in Mechanical design or estimating.

Duties:

• Assist Senior Estimator in Mechanical tender production.

• Client-facing.

• Attend and both internal and external meetings.

• Offer technical support and advice.

• Ensure competitive tenders.

• Learn under the guidance of a senior estimator.

• Produce take-offs and obtain best quotes from suppliers.

• Analysing project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to understand project requirements.

• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate cost estimates.
