Carrington West are currently seeking an experienced Arboricultural Consultant to co-lead the delivery of expert arboricultural services across the UK.
 
As part of a dynamic team, you will work alongside other Consultants to shape and expand services offered. This includes providing expert advice on planning, overseeing highway tree management, conducting complex arboricultural surveys and assessments, and contributing to multidisciplinary projects.
 
Key Responsibilities:
·Collect, analyze, and present complex data in line with standards. Provide expert evidence for enforcement cases and evaluate compliance from third-party contractors.
·Lead the creation and review of arboricultural policies, guidance, and plans to ensure projects meet the highest standards.
·Develop the arboriculture services, including bidding for high-value opportunities and managing projects and contracts, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
 
What is Required:
·You should hold a degree (RQF level 6) in a relevant field.
·Membership with professional bodies like the Institute of Chartered Foresters (MICFor) and being a Qualified Professional Tree Inspector is essential.
·Extensive knowledge of planning legislation, development management, and industry standards, along with expertise in woodland creation, arboricultural assessments, and surveys.
