PRINCIPAL ARBORICULTURAL CONSULTANT - CHELMSFORD - HYBRID (ONCE A WEEK IN THE OFFICE) - PERMANENT ROLE - £45,000 - £54,000 PER ANNUM

ARM is delighted to be working with a public sector organisation who are looking for two Principal Arboricultural Consultant on a permanent basis, working as part of a team to provide environmental and planning services to the organisation. You will be responsible for co-leading the Arboricultural services to clients across the UK.

About You:

  • You must be a qualified, authoritative subject matter with good technical skills, knowledge and experience of legislation, policy and standards of development management and planning policies.
  • To be successful you should be educated to RQF Level 6 (bachelor's degree) with post qualification experience.
  • You must be a qualified tree inspector and having a membership of a relevant body would be advantageous (MICFor, M.Arbor.A etc)

What you will be doing:

You'll be responsible for the commercial and operation delivery of arboriculture services, including a demanding caseload of enquiries regarding planning advice, trees/vegetation affecting the highway, carrying out Arboricultural assessments and surveys etc.

You will collect, analyse and present data and evidence whilst advising of the legal standards and reviewing outcomes.

You will also lead on reviewing complex plans and policies and assist with the bidding on high value opportunities whilst managing some high value projects.

What you can expect in return:

Our client is based in Chelmsford, they are offering a hybrid way of working - in which you are expected in the office once per week. The role is paying up to £54,312 (depending on experience).
