We here at Parker Smith are working with an exceptional specialist setting who are seeking staff ready for January 2025, It is an exciting opportunity to embark on a journey with a school catering to students from KS1 to KS4, all with SEMH needs.

Their purpose-built facility is designed to nurture growth and development. With dedicated classrooms for vocational subjects, they are committed to providing a holistic education experience.

 

Responsibilities of an SEMH Teacher:

  • Develop and implement engaging, differentiated lesson plans tailored to meet the diverse needs of students with SEMH challenges.
  • Adapt teaching strategies to suit individual learning styles, providing personalised support to each student.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters social and emotional growth.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and external professionals to devise comprehensive intervention plans.
  • Continuously monitor and assess student progress, offering timely feedback to students and their families.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment.
  • A genuine passion for making a positive impact in the lives of students facing SEMH challenges.
