Employment: Permanent – full-time and part-time options
Hrs: Monday - Friday 9-5pm
Location: Chelmsford
Salary: Between £38,480 - £42,640 per annum + Car allowance /Car (c£4k) + shift enhancements (%)

In this role, you will collaborate with designated hospitals and centres to educate and support patients undergoing oncology treatments within the Chelmsford area. You will be responsible for ensuring services are delivered in a patient-centric, customer-focused manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake a clinical assessment of patient’s needs
- Conduct training to ensure patient and/or carer are able to safely self-medicate relevant oncology medications e.g. oral tablet
- Provide on-going support to patients through the combination of support programmes to include telephone, clinic-based and home visits as per product and client protocols
- Assess patients’ home environment to ensure it is suitable for home IV oncology treatment including ensuring the environment is safe and secure
- Complete line care for all IV oncology patients, ensuring lines are clean and clear
- Administer all IV Oncology medications for all patients undergoing IV cancer treatment

Requirements for this role:
- Register Nurse (RGN) - NMC Register
- Chemotherapy delivery qualification
- Experience in administering oncology medication, either in hospital or community environment
- Experience of undertaking clinical assessments and administering sub-cutaneous injections
- Experience in the care of IV devices and administration of IV therapies
- Clinical skills required include clinical assessment, administering I.V. injections, administering chemotherapy, cannulation and phlebotomy skills
