SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for installing the Thrislington product range on projects acquired by the company. In addition, they will maintain the quality of installation. Will interface with external customers and external project management staff of the contractor, to ensure the overall company objectives are performed in accordance with established company policies and procedures. The individual must lead by example and be a team player and work in a cooperative and supportive manner.
This position reports directly to the Contract Manager and Field Supervisor.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following:
- Responsible for installing the entire Thrislington range of products under supervision.
- Inspect work and maintain quality control and documents findings as per standard.
- Understands and is proficient with the sequence of installation for each product.
- Professional competence to use power and hand tools.
- Communicates with field supervisor / senior contracts manager of significant issues and or material problems that can affect progression on projects.
- Inspect work and maintain quality control as standard. Documents defects and reports findings to management personnel.
- Follow safe working policies and procedures.
- Report all hazards, unsafe acts, and conditions immediately to Field Supervisor and/or Contracts Manager.
- Complies with wearing assigned PPE designated for the job.
- Travel to projects where the range of Thrislington products are to be installed.
- Participate and submit new and improved work methods in alignment with the Suggested Method Improvement program.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2 -3 years experience within the construction industry.
- Education level NVQ Level 2
- Joinery & Carpentry skills an asset
- Valid CSCS card
- Knowledge of installation techniques and processes
- Able to work in a team environment and collaborate with others
- Basic Microsoft Office skills
- Demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
- Must be able to identify and resolve problems using sound judgement and analytical skills
- Adaptable and flexible and open to change
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrate an ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced construction environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively and in a team environment with all internal and external customers
- Must be willing to work away from home with some travel overseas
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals and shop drawings.
