The role involves performing service calls, planned preventative maintenance, and reactive maintenance on various fire alarm systems primarily in blocks of flats across South Essex.
Standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 16:30, with an on-call commitment of one week in four, which will change to one in six as the team grows.
Candidates must possess at least 2 years of experience in servicing fire alarm systems to qualify for this position.
This is a full-time permanent PAYE role that includes a pension, paid holidays, and all necessary tools and expenses covered.

Fire Alarm Service Engineer

Salary £36 - £40000 Basic (DoE) + Van, £1300 on call and 10%+ extra in overtime.

Looking for a Fire Alarm Field Engineer to undertake Service Calls, PPM's and Reactive Maintenance calls on a variety of Fire Alarm systems in mostly blocks of flats across the South of Essex.

Standard hours are Mon - Fri 08:30 - 16:30.

There is an on-call commitment 1 week in 4 (moving to 1 in 6 when the team expands) that earns £1300 in on call + overtime paid if called out at x1.5.

Candidates must have at least 2 years experience in servicing Fire Alarm systems.

Full Time Permanent PAYE job with: Pension, paid holiday, Company van (business use), tools, uniform, PPE provided, and all expenses: fuel, parking, CC etc are paid.

As this role is focused on supporting systems installed in buildings in the South of Essex; applicants should be located in RM / CM / SS / IG postcodes and neighbouring areas (no further up then Colchester)
