We are seeking a passionate and creative Media Teacher to join our dynamic team at a thriving Secondary School in Chelmsford, Essex. If you have a strong background in media studies and a genuine desire to inspire young minds, we would love to hear from you!


Position: Media Teacher
Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Start Date: ASAP


Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging and innovative lessons in media studies across Key Stage 3 and 4.
Develop students' understanding of media theory, practical skills, and creative expression.
Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity and critical thinking.
Assess and track student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and department initiatives.


About You:
A qualified teacher with a relevant degree (e.g., Media Studies, Film, Journalism).
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for media and the arts.
Experience teaching media studies at the secondary level (preferred but not essential).
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students, helping them achieve their full potential.
