We are looking for a dedicated and efficient Laundry Porter to join our team in a hospital setting. This role is vital in ensuring clean and hygienic laundry services across the hospital, supporting a safe and comfortable environment for patients and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collect, sort, and distribute clean laundry and linen to various departments.
* Safely handle soiled laundry following health and safety guidelines.
* Operate laundry machinery as needed, ensuring safe and effective use.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization within the laundry facilities.
* Report any maintenance issues or shortages to the supervisor.
Requirements:
* Prior experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential).
* Ability to work efficiently and manage time effectively.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene standards.
* Physical ability to handle and transport laundry across departments.
* Must be reliable and able to start immediately.
