Are you a HR Manager looking for a part-time opportunity?

We are supporting a company based in Chelmsford with recruiting for an experienced HR Manager, working 20-25 hours per week, ideally this will be over 5 days but will also consider full days 9am - 5pm for the right person. This is an office based position with free parking on-site and the pro-rata salary is up to £25,000.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Manage HR systems to ensure all information is accurate
  • Draft contracts of employment, offer letters, and references
  • Monitor time, attendance and sickness and provide reports when required
  • Management of the recruitment process including negotiating with agencies and arranging interviews
  • Advise and guide Managers on contractual terms and conditions of employment
  • Support as required with processing weekly and monthly payroll
  • Development of HR processes, procedures and business rules
  • Carry out new starter induction process

In addition to the duties listed you will also be required to produce figures for the board, implement HR projects and support with appraisals, procedures and strategies. To be considered you must have a CIPD qualification Level 3 or above and with experience of reporting directly in to a Board Director. You must be commercially focused with a proactive and decisive manner to support the growth of this established business.
