This is a growing and successful SME who are seeking a new leader of their HR function on a standalone basis, driving policy, process but also the future strategy, but in a role that simply doesn't need a full time employee (or have expectations as such). As a passionate generalist, you'll take control of a function that already exists, but needs some TLC with the opportunity to build and shape as you go - reporting into a leadership team which very much believes in the HR profession, seeing it as a key part of the business.
As a full generalist, this role is standalone, and while some admin support is obviously available, we're seeking a hands on, practical yet strategic operator - ideally someone who has experience of previous leadership roles.
It's a role where the theory matches the logic and reality - the client seeks as much experience as they can get, but understands that their role is part of someone's wider life - it's a realistic and pragmatic business on that basis. Given the nature of the industry, they'd like a presence in the office, so you'll need to be able to commute to the office location for your working hours, but a wonderful opportunity to make a difference is on offer here.
