Are you a proactive and personable HR professional with a passion for delivering excellence in employee support and compliance? We are seeking an HR Advisor to join a team, where you will play a pivotal role in supporting day-to-day operational HR activities and fostering a positive work environment.About the RoleThe HR Advisor will act as the first point of contact for employee queries and provide a high-quality, customer-focused HR service. Reporting to the HR Manager, you will work collaboratively to address queries, maintain compliance, and drive continuous improvement across the employee lifecycle. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about making a positive impact on employee engagement and wellbeing.  The role is hybrid, 4 days in the office, one from home and travel to other offices in Essex and Kent.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment and Onboarding:
  • Partner with the HR Manager and hiring managers to manage recruitment processes, including liaising with agencies and maintaining the recruitment mailbox.
  • Oversee onboarding activities, including verifying right-to-work documents, qualification checks, and preparing onboarding plans.
Employee Lifecycle Management:
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Oversee offboarding processes, ensuring system updates and timely communication with stakeholders.
HR Systems and Data Management:
  • Manage and update HR systems with accurate and timely information.
  • Provide reports, data, and insights to the HR Manager to support decision-making.
  • Ensure legal compliance with right-to-work checks and recordkeeping.
Employee Support and Engagement:
  • Respond to queries via the HR inbox, including proof of employment and reference requests.
  • Support initiatives related to health, safety, and employee wellbeing.
  • Actively manage absence and liaise with managers to support wellbeing and attendance.
Training and Development:
  • Collaborate with managers to identify skills gaps and training needs.
  • Coordinate training bookings and ensure compliance with development plans.
Payroll Collaboration:
  • Work closely with the Payroll Officer to ensure accurate processing of payrolls and maintain audit-ready records.
Key Accountabilities
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and employment legislation.
  • Maintain smooth onboarding, induction, and probationary processes.
  • Proactively contribute to initiatives that enhance employee engagement and organisational culture.
What We’re Looking For
  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or above.
  • A personable and professional individual with a "can-do" attitude and a passion for resolving HR matters.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to implementing best practices.
  • Flexibility to prioritise a dynamic and changing workload.
  • Competency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
  • The ability to travel independently across Essex, Kent, and London.
