A global leader within the Vertical Access industry are seeking a Trainee Engineer to join the team in Chelmsford. This position requires no previous experience within the industry and will offer an exciting career path in return. You will also receive a salary of up to 25,000, pension scheme, sick pay, travel paid and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
Responsibilities for the Trainee Engineer
Complete a 6-month internal training program successfully before conducting any hands-on tasks.
Carry out maintenance tasks such as fault-finding, repairs, familiarisation tasks on BMU products across territory in accordance with customers standards.
Provide mechanical and electrical field-based breakdown service, fault-finding and repair services at a high technical level across all products.
Follow health and safety guidelines at all times.
Requirements for the Trainee Engineer
An early background in Engineering is preferred.
Be able to work with different teams such as Service, Maintenance and Installations.
A passion for working in a Mechanical & Electrical environment.
Salary and Benefits for the Trainee Engineer
Salary of up to 25,000.
20 days holiday plus bank holidays in the first year which increases to 25 in the second year of employment.
Sick pay.
Travel card provided.
Company van provided (minimum age requirement of 21).
