Our client is currently seeking a skilled Building Control Team Leader to join their team on a contract basis.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading and managing the building control team with a focus on regulatory compliance
  • Ensuring all building control activities comply with the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) requirements, particularly BSR 2F (4)
  • Providing expert advice on building control matters
  • Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and performance within the team
  • Overseeing inspections, assessments, and approvals to ensure compliance with building regulations
  • Collaborating with other departments and stakeholders to achieve project objectives
  • Preparing reports and documentation as required
  • Attending site three to four days a week to ensure on-site activities are effectively managed


Job Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in building control
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • In-depth understanding of BSR 2F and related regulations
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Ability to make well-informed decisions in a fast-paced environment
