A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Claims Specialist to join a developing Commercial Insurance Professionals based in Chelmsford. Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- To proactively manage all aspects of TP damage, from notification through to settlement
- Investigating and resolving claims in a professional timely and pro-active manner, whilst providing a first-class claims handling service, in accordance with company procedures and service standards
- Correctly calculating claim reserves, payments, and large movement reports
- Updating and maintaining accurate Claims Management System records
- Where appropriate, attending company and client review meetings
Skills & Experience Required:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience of working in a Technical Claims Adjusting role.
- Experience of negotiations and a technical insurance knowledge and understanding including that of, repair, capture, intervention, Third Party and property damage, and claims processed involving the MOJ and OIC
- A genuine desire to engage in future learning opportunities and continuous professional development
- Strong customer service, and communication skills both written and verbal
- A proactive approach and enthusiastic attitude
