This International Claims Team are recruiting for a Senior Claims Handler / Negotiator.
You will be responsible for pro actively managing your own portfolio of claims, including negotiation of legal liability to achieve the most cost-effective settlement of claims within agreed authority levels.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage claims from cradle to grave to successful conclusion
• Negotiate settlement of claims in a proactive & cost effective manner. • Provide an A class claims service to both first and third parties.
• Monitor individual claims on a daily basis, controlling the overall claims costs.
• Intervene on individual claims in order to keep claims costs to a minimum, this will include intervening
• Contribute to plans for managing all aspects claims issues that arise from time to time.
• Be aware of market developments
• Ensure awareness and understanding of Financial Crime. We welcome applications from candidates with previous claims handling/negotiating experience.
Able to work as a team but also manage your day to day workload.
