About the Role:We are seeking a motivated Assistant Planner or Town Planner to join a dynamic and growing team. In this role, you will work on a variety of exciting planning projects, supporting landowners, developers, promoters, and the public sector in delivering planning applications and contributing to Local Plan Promotions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and submission of planning applications
  • Contribute to Local Plan Promotions and strategic planning projects
  • Support clients, including landowners, developers, and public sector organisations, with planning advice
  • Conduct research and analysis of planning policies and regulations
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, planning statements, and other relevant documents
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Working towards MRTPI membership or already MRTPI registered
  • Relevant experience in planning and policy development, ideally in a similar role
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage tasks effectively and work to deadlines
  • A proactive attitude and a keen interest in the planning industry
