Salary: Negotiable depending on skills and experience

Due to continued expansion, this established real estate and planning consultancy are urgently looking to appoint a Town Planner to work as part of their established Essex based Planning team. The successful Town Planner will have the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects within the residential, affordable housing, commercial and tourism sectors.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Must be working towards becoming a Chartered Member of the RTPI
  • Planning experience in the private sector is advanteagous however local authority experience will also be considered
  • A full driving licence is required

Duties:

  • Managing concurrently running projects
  • Preparing site appraisals and development plan representations
  • Submitting planning applications and appeals
  • Liaising with clients and local authorities
  • Mentoring junior members of the team
