What You'll Be Doing

  • Legal Expertise: Provide practical advice on diverse legal matters, including contracts, litigation, consumer law and property issues.
  • Contract Management: Draft, review and negotiate commercial agreements that align with business goals and minimise risk.
  • Dispute Resolution: Handle consumer disputes and oversee civil litigation claims from start to finish.
  • Compliance Leadership: Collaborate with Compliance and HR teams to strengthen governance and uphold high standards.
  • Strategic Impact: Work with lenders and external stakeholders to negotiate favourable terms and resolve complex issues.
  • Empower Teams: Deliver engaging training sessions to help teams navigate legal challenges confidently.
  • External Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with external legal providers to secure cost-effective support.
  • Regulatory Excellence: Contribute to FCA reporting and regulatory submissions, working closely with internal departments.

What We're Looking For

  • A qualified solicitor with 2+ years of post-qualification experience in corporate, commercial, or consumer law.
