Cooper Lomaz are thrilled to be working with a leading global technology company in seeking a Junior In-House Lawyer to join its compliance and Risk Assessment team. The company operates across various industries offering cutting edge solutions in the advance technology space.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Junior Lawyer to support the legal function and work closely with the General Counsel for international operations. The role involves providing legal and compliance support across multiple business areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the implementation and monitoring of compliance programs, including ethics and data privacy initiatives. Identify and mitigate legal risks in business operations.
  • Maintain corporate records, filings, and board resolutions to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Provide legal guidance on various matters including regulatory compliance and corporate governance. Conduct legal research and draft policies and guidelines.
  • Support the management of disputes and litigation, coordinating with external counsel when needed.
  • Assist with due diligence and integration of newly acquired businesses as well as reviewing and advise on NDAs and other commercial agreements.

Key Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of legal experience
  • Experience in commercial law or contract review
  • Strong commercial awareness and ability to assess business risks
