The One Group are pleased to be working with a high-end manufacturing company based in Chelmsford who manufacture CNC Machined components for high end customers within the Aerospace and Defence industries who are seeking a Quality Engineer to join them on a permanent basis.My client is going through a period of change and there couldn't be a better time to be joining the business, you will report into a QHSE Manager and join a close-knit team where you will support the Operations, Quality and NPI department in managing key aspects within the Quality Management System.The ideal candidate will be experienced in improving efficiencies have a good understanding of ISO9001/AS9100 and be proficient in the use of 8D's and FMEA's.The day-to-day duties include:

  • Manage customer concerns using RCA and CAPA techniques
  • Audit and support FAIR's process for 2nd approvals
  • Manage internal quality metrics and KPI's
  • Process and product auditing as well as focusing on continuous improvement

What we are looking for:

  • Knowledge of CNC machining and manufacturing processes
  • Competent at using quality tools such as 8D's, 5 Why's, Ishikawas
  • Experienced in PPAP's & APQP
  • Knowledge of GD&T
