They are a well established, and well regarded engineering company that supply into a number of different sectors and they require an additional member of staff due to increased workload.Â
This is a full time permanent position.
Responsibilities:Â
- Audit and improve processes
- Liaise with customers and suppliers on quality issues
- Manage customer concerns using RCA and CAPA techniques
- Investigate internal non-conformities
- Conduct supplier quality audits and support FAIRs process
- Manage document control and change management
- Implement 5S and Lean techniques
- Support HSE projects for ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations
Skills & Experience required:Â Â
- Extensive Quality Assurance expertise, including AS9100 QMS management and auditing, non-conformance investigation, risk-based thinking, and communication with stakeholders.
- Knowledge of manufacturing and production processes, especially CNC machining.
- Familiarity with or ability to learn Lean manufacturing principles.
- Strong multitasking and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines independently.
- Ability to train, motivate, and develop team members.
- Proactive approach to Health & Safety.
- Commitment to improving environmental impact.
