Role: Conveyancing Paralegal

Location: Chelmsford

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

Hours: 9am-5.30pm, full-time or part-time

Duties

  • Support Conveyancing Solicitor in residential conveyancing transactions, handling both individual cases and participating in wider project teams.
  • Open case files, estimate costs for new clients, and manage pre-exchange work using case management systems.
  • Handle post-exchange tasks, registrations, and post-completion matters.
  • Draft and negotiate transactional documentation related to property transactions.
  • Manage document stamping, registration, and scheduling of deeds.
  • Process applications for property purchases and offers for sale.
  • Assist tenants and colleagues with Right to Buy inquiries and application forms.
  • Prepare client correspondence related to conveyancing matters.

Experience

  • 1.5+ years experience working as a Conveyancing Paralegal within a Law Firm
  • Law Degree + Masters desirable but not essential
