This role will see the successful candidate report directly to the board of directors, shaping legal and compliance strategies. From advising on contracts to supporting commercial decision making, this role is pivotal to advancing the business.

The Role:

  • Advise on a wide range of legal matters, including supplier and customer agreements, litigation, consumer issues and property matters
  • Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts that align with business goals while mitigating legal risks
  • Oversee civil litigation claims from start to resolution, preparing and managing all necessary documentation
  • Collaborate with the Compliance and HR teams to maintain all necessary documentation
  • Liaise with lenders and external parties to negotiate terms, agreements and resolve consumer-related issues
  • Prepare and deliver training sessions to equip teams with practical legal knowledge

The Person:

  • Qualified Solicitor with experience in Commercial, Corporate or Consumer law
  • Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
