Noble Recruiting are currently recruiting a confident and experienced Assistant Warehouse Manager to join our friendly and proactive Client located on the outskirts of Chelmsford, Essex

Due to the nature of our roles, candidates must be a UK Resident residing within the local area. Please note we cannot offer visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Hours: Full TimeMondays (7.00am to 5.00pm)Tuesday - Fridays (8.00am to 5.00pm)

We are looking for a practical, pro-active, hands-on person who will be responsible for assisting the warehouse manager with the day to day running of the warehouseWhat will you be doing?Assisting the Warehouse Manager you will need to be able to run the warehouse efficiently and effectively when covering in the Warehouse Manager’s absence. This position provides the opportunity for someone to develop their skills in managing a warehouse operation across 2 hubs at the same location with a key focus on driving the pick, pack and restocking functions.You will also spend part of your time actively helping the team participating in the pick and pack function so there is heavy lifting and a physical aspect to the job daily.You’ll also be responsible for:• Preparing and allocating orders to the team• Picking and packaging of orders• Picking by batch codes• Goods in & Despatch• Inventory management• Good housekeeping• Managing the team• Assess difficult situations and self-manage them with the teamSkills & Experience• Able to work on own initiative and as part of a team• Experience motivating a team• Positive, can do attitude• Warehouse management experience• Good communication skills• Good organisation & time management• Proven attention to detail• Must have forklift truck licence - counterbalance or reach truckPublic transport is not available to this location so you will need to have your own transport.
