Original Talent Recruitment are pleased to be recruiting for our client after recently opening a new branch in Chelmsford.

The business has been established over 20 years with offices globally with a £1.2M T/O.

They are now in a position to recruit for an experienced Sea Freight Operations Coordinator to join the team.

As this is a new role to the business, as the team grows there will be an opportunity for you to step into a management role and grow the team

Duties include but not limited to:

Oversee Sea Import and Export operations
Handle customs procedures
Communicate with customers, suppliers, hauliers and shipping lines
Work closely with the director on all things operations
Provide quotes and negotiate freight rates
Keep customers up to date on delays
Manage the shipments from start through to completion

Ideally you will:

Have over 2 years experience in similar position
Have a good understanding of Customs, Import and Export processes
Be able to manage Sea Freight shipments from start through to completion
Have strong attention to detail
Have strong knowledge of LCL & FCL
