29.52 per hour (Inside IR35)
35.65 per hour (from week 13)

About the company
Contechs are recruiting on behalf of their client - a British multinational automobile manufacturer, which produces luxury vehicles and sport utility vehicles. They are looking for a Supply Chain Management Engineer to join their expanding team, on a contract basis. The role will be based in Dagenham, Essex.
Job Description
As Supply Chain Management Engineer, your main responsibilities include:
- Development, implementation, and management of vehicle parts sourcing, using corporate and ad-hoc systems
- Due diligence for supplier sourcing, ensuring all suppliers support Client standards
- Supply chain route setups, working with internal logistics support to gain efficiency where possible
- Manage internal stock, ensuring counts are up to date, to protect program
- Monitor and develop roadmaps for supply chain improvements, implementing them and coaching the team through the change
Qualifications / Skills needed
- Working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
- Working knowledge of Corporate PC based MP&L programs and software packages
- A high level of presentation and communication to senior execs
- Engineering Degree in relevant subject or equivalent
- Special Vehicle/prototype parts sourcing, procurement, and delivery experience
