- Route Optimisation
- Keeping records such as drivers hours, tacograph and PMI Inspections
- Maintaining current and new accreditations such as FORS.
- Measure, manage and communicate KPIs, metrics and report exceptions.
- Provide day-to-day support during the rollout/implementation of newer systems/processes.
- Health and SafetyÂ
- Day-to-day, you will deal with all driver-related issues ensuring that all transport legislation is always adhered to ensuring fleet and driver compliance through active monitoring and reporting.
- Route planning for drivers; scheduling, monitoring & regulatory compliance, problem solving, checking documentation
- Maintenance of vehiclesÂ
- To liaise with Depot Management and others in the transport team on a daily basis with regards to transport issues.
- Must have 3 years+ Transport Management experience
- Must have International CPC
- Health & Safety IOSH preferred
- A background operating at a management level is a must
- A passion for encouraging teamwork
- Ability to influence a team of drivers
- Excellent team management skill for developing you team
- Flexibility to cover a variety of shift patterns when needed
