Due to the demand in the Global Markets, within the Claims field, and continued disaster exposure. This Insurer is seeking expert Claims Professionals covering all sectors of Insurance.

This position is a varied collaboration of client management, technical expertise, and teamwork.

Responsibilities include:

  • Handling Claims: Communicating with clients, brokers, and insurers to keep updated on the financial conclusion of losses.
  • Administrative Tasks: Setting up new claims, processing collections, and maintaining accurate records across the business
  • Initiating Correspondence and Reports, for review. Preparing letters, emails, and administration, as well as reports to support decisions and maintain client expectations.
  • Ensuring Compliance: Following company policies and regulatory requirements in all claims-related activities.
  • Building Relationships: Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, and attending client, broker, or underwriter meetings as needed.
  • Developing Expertise: Keeping up to date with industry developments, legal changes, and regulations.

  • Experience in claims handling or a client-facing role in the insurance industry.
  • A good understanding of insurance principles and claims processes
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to connect with clients and colleagues optimally.
  • Strong organisational and planning abilities, especially under tight deadlines.
  • A proactive, solution-oriented approach with negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Resilience and calmness under pressure, with a flexible attitude.
  • The ability to work as part of a team while also taking initiative independently.
