Are you an experienced maintenance engineer looking to join a dynamic and innovative team? Our client, based on the outskirts of Chelmsford, is seeking a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to ensure the effective and efficient repair and maintenance of machinery and facilities.
Key Duties include but are not limited to:
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machinery and equipment
- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults
- Implement preventive maintenance programs to minimise downtime
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure equipment availability and efficiency
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation
Skills and Experience required to be considered for this Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer position
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and engineering drawings
- Experience with PLCs, hydraulics, pneumatics, and automated machinery
- Relevant engineering qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC, HND)
