Earthstream is recruiting a Junior EC&I Project Engineer to join our client's team, working on projects within the Water Industry.

Role Overview

The position involves managing Electrical and Instrumentation systems and leading multidisciplinary projects (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Control & Automation) from start to finish. You will also assist in design review, installation, commissioning, and documentation, working with clients to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities


  • Technical Expertise:
    • Provide technical knowledge in Electrical and Instrumentation systems for water industry projects.
    • Support development and review of E&I engineering designs.
  • Project Management:
    • Oversee projects from concept through completion, including multi-million-pound schemes.
    • Coordinate stakeholders to meet project goals.
  • On-Site Activities:
    • Manage installation and commissioning activities.
    • Develop and maintain commissioning documentation.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Attend and lead regular meetings with internal and external stakeholders.

    • Educational Background:
      • Degree-qualified, with an understanding of Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control & Automation systems.
    • Professional Traits:
      • Eager to develop and progress within the role.
      • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
    • Practical Requirements:
      • Holds a full UK driving license and has access to a vehicle.
