Want to be involved in the development and testing of some extremely exciting pieces of equipment which can be modified and altered to be used in a variety of vehicles - land, air and sea? We are looking for a Mechatronics Engineer to join a dynamic engineering business who have strong ties to motorsport in the UK and the USA. They are now rolling their products out on a variety of other vehicles in different industries!

You will be involved in the design, assembly, and programming of electric power steering systems, carrying out special testing on test rigs and vehicles, then making changes accordingly. You will provide technical support, including site visits, and assist across various areas within the business. You'll also play a key part in ensuring accuracy, quality, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, assemble, and program mechatronic systems.

Test the systems and feedback findings in reports.

Conduct site visits and provide technical support to customers.

Assist with other business areas as needed, such as stock control and warehousing.

Requirements:

Strong knowledge of mechatronic systems and programming. Any CAN bus system knowledge would be an advantage.

Experience with manufacturing processes, wiring harnesses, and connectors.

Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Flexibility to travel and work unsociable hours when necessary.

Be flexible and willing to help with ad hoc duties, even those not directly on the job description, as part of a small, close-knit team.
