They are currently looking for a Mechanical Inspector to join their fast-paced and expanding team. This is a full-time role based at their state-of-the-art machine shop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct first-off, in-process, and final inspections of CNC machined parts.
- Maintain quality management systems aligned with ISO 9001 and AS9100 standards.
- Utilize hand-held measuring equipment and height gauges to ensure quality and precision.
- Assist with the upkeep of calibration records and processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace using 5S methods.
Ideal Candidate:
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment essential, ideally within the medical, automotive, or aerospace industry.
- Must have familiarity with interpreting standard engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of GD & T measurement.
- Experience with calibration and maintaining quality standards.
- CMM programming or report production (e.g., First Article and Initial Sample Inspection Reports) is not essential but advantageous.
