Job Description:
We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our growing team and support in the successful delivery of water treatment and wastewater projects. This role involves overseeing the full project life cycle, from design through to programming, build, and commissioning. As part of our MEICA consultancy team, you will work closely with clients, third-party contractors, and internal teams to ensure all project requirements are met within budget, on time, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support water treatment and wastewater projects through the full life cycle, including design, implementation, and commissioning phases.
Provide technical expertise in electrical or mechanical engineering, with a focus on MEICA aspects.
Collaborate with clients to manage third-party contractors through design, programming, build, and commissioning processes.
Utilize your knowledge of PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems to ensure smooth and effective project delivery (desirable experience).
Assist with the preparation of technical documentation, reports, and project plans.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
Troubleshoot and resolve any technical challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
Regularly report on project progress to clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
Electrical or Mechanical Engineering background (essential).
Proven experience supporting or leading projects across the full project life cycle in a MEICA environment.
PLC, HMI, and SCADA experience or knowledge (desirable).
Experience in working with clients and managing third-party contractors through design, build, and commissioning.
Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with clients, contractors, and internal teams.
A self-starter who is adaptable, confident, and eager to learn and develop professionally.
Ability to work independently and take ownership of project responsibilities.
