Job Title: Mobile Service Engineer
Location: London & South East (primarily London, occasional travel)
Salary: £45,000 + overtime
Type: Full-time, Permanent

Start Date: ASAP
Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00 - 17:30 or 7:00 - 16:30
80% field-based, 20% Billericay location

Role Overview: This role focuses on the maintenance, repair, inspection, and LOLER certification of Access Platform equipment. Engineers will primarily work on-site with customers, performing diagnostics, repairs, and safety inspections, as well as minor HGV and van repairs. Additional responsibilities include refurbishing access equipment, maintaining health and safety standards, and completing required documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct LOLER inspections every six months
  • Perform on-site equipment servicing, repairs, and diagnostics
  • Maintain and restore access equipment to optimal standards
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Maintain clear communication with customers and Service Manager

Requirements:

  • Experience in Access, Crane, Forklift, or Motor industries
  • Technical skills in mechanical, hydraulic, or electrical systems
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills
  • LOLER certification training (preferred but not required)
