Key Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with a senior colleague to lead and manage the daily operations of the nursery
  • Ensure compliance with Ofsted and other regulatory bodies
  • Provide a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment for children
  • Support, mentor, and develop staff to deliver high-quality care
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external agencies
  • Manage nursery budgets, resources, and administrative tasks
  • Strong EYFS knowledge
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 6 in Childcare (or equivalent) preferred
  • Proven experience in a management role within a nursery setting
  • Strong knowledge of EYFS and Ofsted regulations
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • A genuine passion for early years education
