They are currently looking for a Senior Optical Engineer with payload experience to join their existing established team to assist in the design, assembly, integration and verification of new and existing projects.

Experience, Qualifications, Knowledge and Skills:
  • Comprehensive Optical Design knowledge preferably for space applications.
  • Strong Optical design experience with Optic Studio (Zemax) is essential.
  • Design and analysis software knowledge with SolidWorks, Ansys, SigFit, Python preferred.
  • Good working knowledge or understanding of electronics, opto-mechanics and electro-optical device physics.
  • Working experience with Optical Payloads (AIV) and Image Processing.
  • Experience with appropriate materials and component selection, preferably within the space domain.
  • Comfortable managing multiple design projects across project Lifecycle.
  • Optical Ground Support Equipment experience would be desirable.
  • BSc in Optics, Physics, Engineering or related field.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Microsoft Project).
