Are you a compassionate and dedicated individual looking to make a difference in the lives of students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are currently seeking a committed SEMH LSA (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Learning Support Assistant) to join our secondary schools in Chelmsford, starting immediately. As a SEMH LSA, you will play a vital role in supporting students' emotional and educational development, helping them to thrive in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEMH needs, fostering their emotional well-being and academic progress.
  • Assist teachers in implementing tailored learning plans and strategies to meet individual student needs.
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment that encourages positive behaviour and engagement in learning.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as necessary.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to promote an inclusive and supportive school culture.
