- Payroll Specialist
- Up to £45,000 p/a
- Chelmsford
- Deliver high quality, accurate payroll processing for clients
- Preparation of BACS schedules and payments
- Ensure all RTI submissions are made
- Input and reconcile payroll data
- Identify opportunities for process improvements
- Act as central point of contact for clients and employees
- Complete the End of Year statutory returns
- Resolve HMRC enquiries on behalf of clients
- Liaise with internal managers with regard to their active clients
- Keep up to date with changes in payroll and pension legislation
- Experience of bureau payroll software
- Excellent knowledge and understanding of Auto-Enrolment
- Possesses a ‘can do’ attitude with great problem-solving skills
- Effective communication skills
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Graduate calibre with CIPP or equivalent qualification
