JGA are delighted to be working with a successful accountancy practice looking to add a Payroll Specialist to its team!  Responsibilities include:
  • Deliver high quality, accurate payroll processing for clients
  • Preparation of BACS schedules and payments
  • Ensure all RTI submissions are made
  • Input and reconcile payroll data
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Act as central point of contact for clients and employees
  • Complete the End of Year statutory returns
  • Resolve HMRC enquiries on behalf of clients
  • Liaise with internal managers with regard to their active clients
  • Keep up to date with changes in payroll and pension legislation
Desirable skills & experience:
  • Experience of bureau payroll software
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of Auto-Enrolment
  • Possesses a ‘can do’ attitude with great problem-solving skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Graduate calibre with CIPP or equivalent qualification
