Senior Claims Handler

Responsibilities:
- Investigate, negotiate, and agree on the settlement of claims in a professional and efficient manner.
- Liaise with insured parties, insurers, and brokers to ensure a professional and timely conclusion of claims.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across the UK and Europe.
- Produce reports that comply with professional standards and internal guidelines within agreed timescales.
- Ensure time reporting and billing are compliant with internal standards, processing, and systems.
- Guarantee that invoices raised are accurate and issued promptly.
- Work closely with adjusters where appropriate to manage claims effectively.
- Attend client review meetings to discuss and assess ongoing claims processes and provide expert advice.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Claims Handler
- Achieved / working towards professional qualifications
- Strong understanding of technical, operational, and regulatory policies within the insurance industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage a portfolio of claims efficiently and effectively.
- Experience in coordinating with international stakeholders is highly advantageous.
