Hunter AHP are currently seeking a Pharmacy Stores Assistant to join a reputable NHS Hospital in Essex.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with the receipt, storage, and distribution of pharmaceutical stock within the hospital.
- Ensure accurate and efficient stock management, including rotation and stocktaking.
- Work closely with the pharmacy team to maintain adequate stock levels and prevent shortages.
- Prepare and deliver pharmaceutical products to designated areas of the hospital.
- Assist with ordering and inventory management, ensuring stock is well-organised and accessible.
- Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring all products are stored in compliance with regulations.
- Provide administrative support, including updating records and databases as needed.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy stores or stock-related role is desirable.
- Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage inventory effectively.
- Excellent attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively.
- Knowledge of basic health and safety procedures in a healthcare setting is an advantage.
- A willingness to learn and support the pharmacy team.
