About the Role:
We are seeking skilled and motivatedPharmacy Techniciansto provide essential pharmaceutical services in a prison setting in Chelmsford. As part of our agency team, you will have the opportunity to work flexible shifts, contributing to the healthcare and wellbeing of inmates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense medications and maintain patient records.
- Assist in the delivery of pharmacy services in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Work closely with healthcare staff to ensure proper medication management.
- Provide advice on medication usage and ensure prescriptions are filled promptly.
- Support the healthcare team in managing stock and maintaining pharmacy inventory.
Requirements:
- Registered Pharmacy Technicianwith GPhC (General Pharmaceutical Council).
- Previous experience working as a pharmacy technician, ideally in a secure or prison environment (not essential but desirable).
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work agency shifts as required.
