About the Role:

We are seeking skilled and motivatedPharmacy Techniciansto provide essential pharmaceutical services in a prison setting in Chelmsford. As part of our agency team, you will have the opportunity to work flexible shifts, contributing to the healthcare and wellbeing of inmates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately dispense medications and maintain patient records.
  • Assist in the delivery of pharmacy services in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Work closely with healthcare staff to ensure proper medication management.
  • Provide advice on medication usage and ensure prescriptions are filled promptly.
  • Support the healthcare team in managing stock and maintaining pharmacy inventory.

Requirements:

  • Registered Pharmacy Technicianwith GPhC (General Pharmaceutical Council).
  • Previous experience working as a pharmacy technician, ideally in a secure or prison environment (not essential but desirable).
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work agency shifts as required.
