What You'll Do
As a Senior Planning Officer, you will play a crucial role in the production of the Local Plan. Your responsibilities will include:
- Analysing and assessing Local Plan representations
- Negotiating and preparing Statements of Common Ground with third parties
- Preparing Hearing Statements and participating in Local Plan Independent Examinations
What We're Looking For:
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Extensive experience working at a senior planning officer level, particularly in Local Plan production
- A degree in Town Planning or an equivalent qualification
- Membership or eligibility for membership with the Royal Town Planning Institute
A valid driver's licence is required for this position.
